Astrail is not an official version of CATAN and does not try to reproduce its brand. It begins with a broader strategy-game idea players already understand: a shared economy where dice create opportunities, position determines production and negotiation can rescue a difficult hand.
From there, the experience moves into its own galaxy. Routes cross a holographic frontier, stations become colonies, five planetary resources feed a technology system, and a command profile records progression around the current Alpha.
